The messages in the body/politic series reflect my thoughts of the time on the human community, on how we are embodied, and what that means in a political sense. The words/phrases that became works in the first series include 'unrepresented body', 'your body is your vote', 'body', 'vote', 'power' and more recently 'intensely embodied'.

These pieces are personal and political. They are words that reflect on my own physical body and its position in the world, and on the bodies of others who are in significantly more compromised situations; bodies in combat areas, migrating bodies and those bodies suffering with illness.
